Pre-Arrival Checklist

Pre-Arrival Checklist

Please review this list prior to your arrival at Thredbo Farm Ski Lodge:

  • TFSL is not a hotel, it is a communal lodge where a diverse range of people can enjoy themselves in a relaxed and respectful environment.

  • Bring your own sheets, pillowcases and towels.

  • Check in time is 2pm for the Homestead rooms and 4pm for Snow Gums. Please do not bring luggage or food into the lodge prior to these times to facilitate room changeovers and cleaning.

  • Check out time is 10am for all rooms. Please remove all personal items from rooms and food from kitchen storage to facilitate room changeovers and cleaning. You may use common areas after you’ve checked out so long as it doesn’t interfere with lodge cleaning.

  • The bedroom wing of the homestead is a quiet zone. Please respect other guests by ensuring children do not run and play in the halls and check in quietly if arriving after dark. Some older rooms have very limited sound insulation, so please consider this if watching movies without headphones or talking loudly in your room. There are plenty of common areas to socialise away from the bedrooms.

  • The entrance gate on the Alpine Way is closed by default to deter random people driving up. If it’s closed when you arrive or leave, please close it behind you - especially at night. This is relaxed through winter in the mornings and afternoons when lots of guests are leaving and returning from the snow.

  • Cars must be parked nose towards the lodge so that exhaust fumes do not enter guest room windows.

  • All dishwashing is your own responsibility and note that dishes need to be rinsed of scraps before being run through the sterilising machine before being put away. Please tidy up your cooking prep area so others can use the kitchen and then cleaning your eating area and all dishes used. At peak times, only have the people cooking or washing up using the kitchen to avoid overcrowding.

  • All common areas, including the downstairs games room used by your children, are your responsibility to tidy up after use.

  • The lounge is for adults and older children to relax and socialise. Younger children are permitted under adult supervision and can use the lounge area in the kitchen or downstairs games room for louder play.

  • Use of electronic devices without headphones is not permitted in common areas, including for watching videos, listening to music or making phone calls.

  • There is no smoking or vaping in or near the lodge. If you need to smoke or vape, please do this near the rear shed on the other side of the carpark or a minimum 30m from any lodge entrances or windows.

  • At busy times, a TFSL Member will be assigned as Lodge Captain if you have any questions during your stay.
