What makes a Thredbo Farm Ski Lodge member?

Our members are from all ages and backgrounds. Most are from Sydney or Canberra, but they hail from other parts as well. Many of our members have been coming for over thirty years. The children they brought with them back in the 1980s are now bringing their own children, or have even become members themselves. We also have brand new members who have been introduced to Thredbo Farm one way or the other and just loved the atmosphere and the opportunity for recreation and relaxation our lodge offers.

Our members enjoy being part of a community. We respect everyone’s right to just curl up near the fire and read a book by themselves, but if there’s a spare spot at a game of cards, or an extra biscuit in the packet, we’ll make the offer.

We welcome families with children of all ages and enjoy the opportunity to demonstrate to our youngest visitors to the lodge what being part of a community means; being friendly and respectful, tidying up after ourselves, helping each other when we can and enjoying everything we all have to offer.

Our members contribute to the lodge. Whether that’s coming up for our bi-annual working bee, volunteering on the Board of Directors or in some other capacity, or just noticing the bin needs emptying, we know that the lodge is better when we chip in.

Member Benefits

There are only 126 shareholders in Thredbo Farm Ski Lodge Limited, and only shareholders may be members.

Membership benefits include:

Becoming a member

When shares become available, they may be purchased by the public. The recent price range for a share sale is $40K-$50K. Purchases are subject to TFSL Membership application and approval by the Directors of Thredbo Farm Ski Lodge.
